Description

IBM SPSS is software used primarily for statistical analysis and provides tools to analyze data and create reports and graphs from that data.

Ordering SPSS

In order to successfully install and activate SPSS software, faculty, staff, and researchers must first purchase an annual subscription for the software by ordering through the Staff/Faculty Order Link. Students can receive a free SPSS subscription by ordering through the Student Order Link.

Note for students in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences: Please contact ts@dornsife.usc.edu for assistance with subscriptions to SPSS.

Once you have purchased an SPSS subscription, you may download SPSS for your computer’s operating system by clicking the appropriate download link below.

Note: Incompatability issue with MacOS 14 (Sonoma) has been fixed. If you are having issues with using SPSS on MacOS 14, please uninstall SPSS, redownload SPSS from the above links, and reinstall SPSS. If you continue to have issues, please contact ITS Licensing and Software.

SPSS in the USC Computing Centers

SPSS is also available on computers located in the following USC Computing Centers:

IBM SPSS may be installed at other locations throughout the university. Please contact your local school IT personnel to determine whether IBM SPSS is available at your location.
