SAS is a powerful software system that includes a programming language, many statistical features, hundreds of built-in functions, macro capability, reporting functions, and graphics.
How to Access This Software
For information on how to get the full version SAS for your computer, please contact your school or department’s local IT support.
NOTE: If you have installed SAS on your computer and need to renew your annual software license, see Renewing Your SAS License on the ITS website. To download SAS licenses, see software.usc.edu/sas/sas-license-files.
SAS University Edition
Students can also install SAS on their personal laptops by downloading the free SAS University Edition from the SAS website at www.sas.com/en_us/software/university-edition.html. This version works on both the Windows and Mac operating systems.

NOTE: The full version of SAS is only available for the Windows operating system. SAS University Edition for students is available for both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems.
SAS in the USC Computing Centers
SAS is available on computers located in the following USC Computing Centers:
